Antonio Lafuente (Granada, 1953) has a PhD in Physical Sciences and works at the Institute of History of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC). His activity as an essayist and disseminator of science covers many facets. He has directed editorial collections on science, has published numerous articles and books, among them, The Knights of the Fixed Point (1987), Madrid Scientific Guide: Science and Court (1998), and Iberian Machinism (2007), and is a regular contributor to Spanish cultural newspapers and supplements. He is the author of the Tecnocidanos blog about science, technology and citizenship.
