Ariana Harwicz (Buenos Aires, 1977) is an Argentine writer based in France. In 2012 he published his first novel, Mátate, amor, which allowed him to achieve great recognition by critics. This was followed by La weak mental (2014) and Precoz (2015), which have received the appellation of " trilogy of passion "and that explore the relationship between mothers and children. The English translation of Mátate, amor was nominated in 2018 for the prestigious Man Booker International Award.
