Attila Bartis. He was born in Târgu Mure?, Romania, in 1968, a photographer, writer and playwright, he has lived in Hungary since 1984. He is the author of the novels El paseo (1995) and La calm (2001), both published in Spanish by Acantilado, and three books of stories and two unpublished essays in our language. He has been awarded the Tibor Déry Prize, the Sandor Márai Prize and the Attila József Prize, and his work has been translated into twenty languages. He is a member of the Széchenyi Academy of Literature and Arts. The End, originally published in 2015, is his last novel to date.
