Bobette Buster grew up in Kentucky, in a region famous for its great storytellers. After graduating, he produced an oral history of the area that is now archived at the Kentucky Museum. He moved to Hollywood, where he learned the craft of developing film scripts. She is the author of Do Listen (2018), the documentary Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound (2019) and several narrative projects. She is a script consultant for major film studios such as Pixar, Disney and Sony Animation and for several leading production companies in the sector, as well as for various advertising and marketing agencies around the world. She leads storytelling workshops, lectures internationally, and is a professor of Digital Storytelling Practice at Northeastern University in Boston. She lives in Los Angeles, California.
