Carlos Aguirre Arias, a political scientist and graduate of the University of Guadalajara, holds a master's degree from the Pan-American University. I worked in the Senate in the technical secretariat of the commission monitoring the electoral processes in 2010. I have always been closely involved with the media and am a columnist for LJA and Tercera Vía. I am a member of the State College of Political and Government Studies and Accede.

I have been involved with CIMTRA for eight years and work at the Electoral Institute of the State of Jalisco. Since the end of 2015, I have coordinated CIMTRA Jalisco, and since the beginning of 2016, I have been part of CIMTRA's national coordination team.
