Catherine Busts. Illustrator commonly known as Catalina Bu, who has gained success for her crude, fun, and somewhat abstract drawings. She was born in Concepción, Chile in 1989, and began creating the webcomic Diario de un Solo in 2013, which she finished in 2014.

She studied professional Illustration at the Arcos Institute and after working for different brands and national magazines, she made a comic. Her first book, Diario de un Solo (Catalonia, 2014), was very well received by the public and the press, quickly becoming one of the best-selling books in Chile. She has been invited to international book fairs in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Italy and currently works as a freelance illustrator, dedicated to editorial illustration.
