César Silva Márquez is an engineer and writer. Born in Ciudad Juárez in 1984, he is one of the most recognized and versatile young writers in Mexico. Among his numerous books, the following stand out: Los Cuervos (2006), Una isla sin mar (2009), Juárez Whiskey (2013) La balada de los arcos dorados (2014). He has been recognized with: José Rubén Romero National Novel Award, San Luis Potosí National Short Story Award, Binational Young Border Novel Award, Chihuahua State Science and Arts Award. He is a member of the National System of Art Creators.
