Born in Califonia, Charles Carpenter graduated in Theology at the University of San Francisco and in 1995 received his doctorate from the Gregorian University in Rome. Ordained in Spain and then moved as a missionary in Sonora, Mexico, where he was superior general of the Missionaries of Fatima for twenty years. He was professor of the Diocesan Seminary of Ciudad Obregon in Sonora and is a member of the Association of Christian Therapists.
