Chris Haughton defines himself as a designer and author of children's albums. He has worked independently for a long time, collaborating very actively with fair trade organizations. His illustrated albums enjoy enormous international success. A Bit Lost (A Little Lost in Spanish, the first book published by NubeOcho) has been translated into 27 languages and has received awards in several countries, including the Illustrated Book of the Year in the Netherlands; Haughton has also won the Junior Magazine Picture Book Illustrated Album of the Year Award and the AOI Children's Book Award in 2014.
