Christoph Daxelmüller is professor of ethnology at the University of Regensburg and assists in drafting the Lexikon des Mittelalters (Dictionary of the Middle Ages), the Enzylopädie des Märchens (Encyclopedia of the story) and the Handbuch des Europäischen Volksglaubens (Handbook of European folk beliefs ).
