Claus Dierksmeier (1971, Pforzheim) is the holder of a Chair in Globalization Ethics at the University of Tübingen and works as a strategic policy and business consultant. From 2012 to 2018 he was Academic Director of the Weltethos Institute (Institute of Global Ethics, founded by Hans Küng) at the University of Tübingen. His academic research focuses on issues related to political, religious and economic philosophy, with special emphasis on theories of freedom and responsibility in the era of globality.
