Constantino Bértolo

Constantino Bértolo (Lugo, 1946) is an editor and critic. Bachelor of Hispanic Philology at UCM. Between 1975 and 1991 he carried out literary criticism in various press media. Co-founder, professor and director of studies between 1990 and 1994 of the School of Letters of Madrid. Between 1991 and 2003, literary director and editorial director at the Editorial Debate, of the Editorial Group Random House Mondadori, where he created, among others, the collection Starting point, in which his first books would be published by authors such as Ray Loriga, Luis Magrinyà, Marta Sanz, Germán Sierra, Eloy Fernández Porta, Julián Rodríguez and Josán Hatero. Since 2004 he directs the Editorial Caballo de Troya which has among its main objectives to make known and support new authors, new proposals, new voices and new literatures, and in which authors such as Mercedes Cebrián, Elvira Navarro, Natalia Carrero, Lolita Bosch, Fernando San Basilio, Alberto Lema, Milo Krmpotic, Óscar Aibar, Antonio Doñate and Pelayo Cardelus.
