Cyril Hare (Mickleham, 1900-Box Hill, 1958) was the pseudonym of Alfred Alexander Gordon Clark, who as a distinguished judge and lawyer dedicated his life to jurisprudence. He wrote nine crime novels and a multitude of stories directly inspired by his professional experience.
