Enza García Arreaza

Puerto la Cruz, Venezuela, 1987. Narrator and poet. In 2007 he won the Contest for works of unpublished authors, from Monte Ávila Editores, with the book of stories Cállate little by little. In 2009 he received the III National University Literature Prize of the Simón Bolívar University with El bosque de los bedules (Equinoccio, 2010 / Sudaquia, 2016). She is the author of El intacto animal (Bogotá, Ediciones Isla de libros, 2015), compilation of poems and illustrations. In 2016 he attended the Guadalajara International Book Fair as part of the "Ochenteros" program. In 2017, she was a resident of the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa and a guest writer on the City of Asylum program in Pittsburgh. In 2018 she was selected as a resident writer at the International Writers Project for the academic year of Brown University.
