Eric M. Avila Ponce de Leon, from Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. He was born on January 18, 1987. He has a degree in Hispanic Language and Literature from UNAM. He is currently completing a Masters in Hispanic Literature at the University of Arizona. Main area of research is the relationship between German philosophy and Mexican literature.
