Aeschines (Greek Αἰσχίνης) was an Athenian orator and politician born in Athens in 389 a. C. and died in Samos in 314. C. was one of the ten Attic orators.
Aeschines was a tough opponent of Demosthenes, who faced politically and judicially. Aeschines represented the pro-Macedonian faction of Athens, while Demosthenes claimed war against Philip II.
