Evgeny Morozov (Belarus, 1984) is the author of The Net Delusion: The Dark Side of Internet Freedom, winner of the 2011 Notable Book of the Year Award, and the 2012 Goldsmith Book Prize from the Kennedy School of Harvard. He is a contributing editor for The New Republic. His articles have been published in The New York Times, Financial Times, The Economist, Wall Street Journal, London Review of Books, and many other media. He publishes his monthly column in Slate, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (Germany), El País (Spain), Corriere della Sera (Italy), and other newspapers.
