Fernando Ciaramitaro

He is a professor of History at the Autonomous University of Mexico City and an associate researcher at the Center for Historical Studies of the Bernardo O'Higgins University (Chile). Her lines of research are: imperial history, Inquisition, viceregal systems, female convents, Italian emigration, iconography, history of thought and institutions, historiography. On these topics he has published numerous books, essays and reviews. He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses and has been a visiting professor at some European and American universities and research centers; among them, the University of Catania, the University of Seville, the Mora Institute, the Iberoamerican University, the Casa de Velázquez, the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, the University of Palermo, the University of Pisa. He is a member of some international research groups and networks, such as Red Columnaria and Laboratorio Matrix. He is editor of numerous scientific journals and publishers.
