Fernando Perez Corripio (1928 - 1993), lexicographer and translator Spanish._x000D_
He studied philology and lexicography and was an officer in the merchant marine. Lived three years in Buenos Aires. Lexicographic wrote numerous works, including a quick-read manual and a dictionary of synonyms and antonyms of the Spanish language published by Bruguera in 1971, which soon became popular and which should be based to make the thesaurus, and as a dictionary of mistakes in the Spanish language and brief general etymological and so on. Most of them were published for the first time Bruguera, but it was then to other publishers such as Larousse or Spes. In 1985 he gave the rights to the publisher Herder of which is his most famous work, the thesaurus (1983).
