Fernando Rodríguez Bornaetxea holds a PhD in Psychology and has been a professor of History of Psychology and Transpersonal Psychology for 21 years.

In addition, he is a bioenergetic and gestaltist analyst, with extensive experience in Lacanian and Jungian Psychoanalysis. He has founded the Spanish Transpersonal Association and the Spanish Society of Transpersonal Psychology and Psychotherapy, and is president of the Baraka Institute of Integral Psychology.
