Florencia Abadi was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1979. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Buenos Aires, is a researcher at CONICET (National Scientific and Technical Research Council), and teaches Aesthetics (Departments of Philosophy and Arts, UBA). She has published *Knowledge and Redemption in the Philosophy of Walter Benjamin* (Miño y Dávila, 2014), and the poetry collections *Malaluz* (Persé, 2001), *Another Garden* (Bajo la luna, 2009), and *Corinne* (Alción, 2014).
