Frederick Charles Beiser (born November 27, 1949) is an American philosopher and professor of philosophy at Syracuse University. His studies have focused on German idealism, and he has also written on the German Romantics and 19th-century British philosophy. He received a Guggenheim Fellowship for his research in 1994, and was awarded the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2015.
