Gabriel Rodríguez Liceaga, (Mexico City, 1980). All his story books have won national literature prizes. Niños Tristes (Premio María Luisa Puga de Cuento 2010), Perros sin nombre (Prize Fine Arts of Story San Luis Potosí 2012) and Sing, wounded! (Agustín Yáñez Award 2015). He has also published the novels Balas en los Ojos, El siglo de las mujeres and the juvenile book Hipsterboy. His story The hands without Julia was chosen by the publisher Joaquín Mortiz as one of the best of 2005. His short story Sombras Huérfanas was a finalist in the Cosecha Eñe 2012 story contest in Spain.
