Georges Minois, professor of history, doctor of history and doctor of letters, is a member of the International Center for Research and Transdisciplinary Studies (CIRET). Specialized in social history and religious mentalities, he is the author of several works published by different publishers and published in numerous languages, among others the following: History of old age, Le Confesseur du roi, History of the underworld ol’Église et la guerre, not to mention the two parts of the present history of The Church and Science: From Saint Augustine to Galileo and From Galileo to John Paul II.
