Giuseppe Cocco

Giuseppe Cocco, a militant of workers' autonomy during the seventies, ended up going into exile in France to escape the repressive coup of the Italian State. For fifteen years he has lived in Brazil, where he is a professor at the School of Social Service of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He also participates in the research and militancy network Universidade Nômade. Other works of his, in Spanish, are Work and citizenship (Xátiva, Diálogos, 2003) and, together with Antonio Negri, GlobAL: Biopower and social struggles in a globalized Latin America (Barcelona, Paidós, 2006).
