Guillermo Santamarina Lagunes (Mexico City, 1957) is a pioneer of curatorial practice in our country, a contemporary art curator and visual artist. Since 1981, Tin Larín—as it is also known—has been a facilitator and accomplice of more than five hundred exhibitions organized for public institutions, private entities and independent projects. He also served as director and chief curator in a handful of cultural venues. This career is a testament to his passion for talent and his commitment to the dissemination of the work and ideas of living artists, particularly those of emerging generations. His work promoted the production of artists who shaped the Mexican contemporary art scene of the last four decades.
