Günter Wallraff (October 1, 1942 in Burscheid, Germany) born Hans-Günter Wallraff is a covert investigative journalist and German writer. He is known for covert reports in various large companies, the German tabloid Bild-Zeitung and various institutions with the method of investigative journalism, which tells the conditions of work or occupation in German industrial society. His radical methods of journalistic investigation have given rise to a verb in German wallraffen (wallraffear), where the reporter transforms, creating a fictitious identity, a subject that will live all the experiences recounted later, that otherwise are difficult to investigate.
