He is a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Vienna, has the degree of Privatdozent (PhD status) by the University of Hanover. It belongs to the National System of Researchers Level III, is Senior Fellow "C" at the Institute for Social Research at the UNAM, and professor in the graduate in philosophy from the same university. Specialized training areas of the world system, emergence of modernity critique of nineteenth century religion, history, comparative religion and philosophy of Nietzsche, has published the following books on the German philosopher Nietzsche, eros and west. Nietzsche to the Western tradition (Porrúa / IIS, UNAM, Méxioco, 2005) criticism, Nietzsche's wisdom. Towards a new art of living (Porrúa / UDLA, Mexico 2007) and coordinated the following works: The Death of God and the end of metaphysics (UNAM, Mexico, 1997).
