Herbjørg Wassmo

Norwegian writer. She worked as a teacher in the north of the country. She is one of the most important narrators of the Nordic countries and success came with her first novel, The Blind Lookout House, the first part of the Tora Trilogy, which we now publish and which will be followed by the other two installments. nominated for the Literature Prize of the Nordic Council and won the Critics Award. With the second part he won the Booksellers' Prize and, finally, in 1987 he won the Nordic Council prize with the last book of the trilogy. Wassmo, in addition, received the Jean Monnet Prize in 1998. Among his works also highlights the Trilogy of Dina, which was taken to the cinema in 2002.
