Heriberto Von Feilitzsch

He grew up in Germany near the Iron Curtain, border with East Germany. In 1998 he emigrated to the United States as a student. Fascinated by the situation of the border between Mexico and that country, he studied a master's degree in Latin American History focused on relations between Mexico, Germany and the United States, at the University of Arizona. Even though he later pursued a career and also earned a master's degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University, he remained committed to the issue of the US-Mexico border. After twenty years of arduous research work in the United States, Mexico and Germany, von Feilitzsch wrote four books about German naval intelligence agent Felix A. Sommerfeld and the German Secret Service in the United States between 1914 and 1917. He lives on a farm North of the state of Virginia, United States, with his wife and children.
