Born in Madrid (1941), Inaki Preciado Idoeta a doctorate in philosophy, Tibetologist and pioneer of modern Spanish Sinology. He worked as a translator of expert chin oy the Embassy of Spain in Beijing (1973-1976). Returning to Spain he began his work of translation of the Taoist classics, as well as Chinese literature. In 1980 he won the National Translation Prize for their version of Lao zi (Book of the Tao). In 1983 he began studying Tibetan language and culture s and Publi market has several books on Tibet, which has widely traveled in the last ten years. Currently resides in a remote Bonpo monastery Eastern Tibet. Among his more than twenty translations, essays and travel books included: Lie zi.
