Jacqueline Goodnow has researched and realized teaching at various universities and institutions dedicated to research in Australia and the United States. He is currently a professor at the School of Behavioural Sciences (School of Behavioral Sciences), of Macquarie University in Sydney. He has published numerous papers in the general field of cognitive development and is coauthor, along with Jerome Bruner and AUSTIN, A Study of Thinking (A study of thought), a work which has exerted great influence in this field of knowledge.
