(1924-2012) Outstanding French psychoanalyst, he participated in the seminars of Jacques Lacan - of which he was also patient - and in 1969 he was elected president of the Association Psychanalytique de France. Between 1970 and 1994 he was a tenured professor at the University of Paris VII. Coauthor, with J.-B. Pontalis, from the now classic Dictionary of Psychoanalysis, also wrote innumerable works, many of which have been published by our label.
