Jesus Vicente Aguirre González (Logroño, 1948). In the seventies, together with his wife Carmen Medrano, he was part of some groups of the so-called social or protest song. At the end of the decade, and already like Carmen, Jesús and Iñaki, they put the background music to the Rioja transition that, like in the rest of Spain, demanded democracy, freedom and autonomy. They recorded two LPs. His song La Rioja exists, but it is not, if we unite we have to do it, it became an authentic popular hymn of La Rioja. Later he worked in other fields of communication: radio, press and image. He has been a technical official of the Logroño City Council. As a writer, he has published numerous articles in various media and the following books: La Rioja begins to walk (ier, 2002, two editions), Nothing ever happened here, La Rioja 1936 (Editorial Ochoa, 2007, eight editions), Here never nothing happened 2 (Editorial Ochoa, 2010), At the end of the battle and the combatant died (Editorial Ochoa, 2014), which that year won the first Prize for Essay and Dissemination of the Ateneo Riojano, the collections of poems La vida que te pushes (Ediciones August 4, 2004), Before the first waltz sounds (Editorial Buscarini, 2010) and Ejercicio de escritura (Editorial Buscarini, 2014), and the novels What happened. History of a take out of 36 (Pepitas, 2019) and The club of the four plus one (Los Aciertos, 2021).
