Jon Kabat-Zinn

Jon Kabat-Zinn is the founder and former director of the Stress Reduction Clinic and the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society at the University of Massachusetts and professor emeritus of medicine at the same University. He is also vice chancellor of the Mind and Life Institute.

His work has contributed to the increasing inclusion of mindfulness in medicine, psychology, schools, organizations, prisons, and professional sports. He directs stress reduction and mindfulness workshops for healthcare professionals, business leaders, and other professionals around the world. Kairos has published his main works, Living crises fully, The practice of mindfulness, Knocking on your own door and The power of attention or Mindfulness for beginners.
