He has a doctorate in Political Science and Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid. Specialist in Social and Cultural Anthropology, he is also a doctor from the Complutense University of Madrid at the University Institute of Religious Sciences.
He specializes in field work in relation to beliefs and their political, economic and social influence. Apart from his academic work, he is a regular contributor to popular magazines such as Year / Zero and Beyond Science and to programs such as Cuarto Milenio (Cuatro TV) and Espacio en Blanco (Spanish National Radio).
