Doctor in History from the Complutense University of Madrid. His work areas have been essentially oriented towards the world of written culture, its social practices, production, distribution, book ownership and reading levels in the Spain of the Golden Age. He has published several books, studies in collective works and numerous articles in specialized magazines. He has participated in numerous conferences, scientific meetings, courses and seminars and has been a visiting professor at the Central Venezuela (Caracas) and National Autonomous Universities of Mexico. He currently holds the position of Production Manager at Editorial CSIC.
