José María Quintana Cabanas is an educator and philosopher born in 1930 in Bagà (province of Barcelona, Spain), a small village in the Catalan Pyrenees Mountains. He began dedicating himself to teaching, and since 1965 he was professor, then professor at the University of Barcelona, after the Autonomous University of Barcelona, since 1987, at the National University of Distance Education (UNED, Madrid), in which since 2000 remains Professor Emeritus._x000D_
He is the author of 65 books, has participated in the drafting of many others, has published 293 articles and 34 books translated.
