José Miguel Marinas is a Doctor of Philosophy. He is currently Professor of Political Philosophy and Sociology at the Complutense University of Madrid. He has oriented his research in the field of the consumer society, its transformations and impacts in the formation of subjectivity, and the discourses that form public opinion. He has also studied the ethical and political aspects of psychoanalysis and how they are involved in our societies. Dr. Marinas, founder of the magazine El Rapto de Europa and with a long career as a researcher in Europe, is also a visiting professor at several Latin American and European universities
