Jose Molina

Born in Salamanca, Guanajuato in 1975. It is a degree in Latin American literature from the Universidad Iberoamericana and pursued an MA in Portuguese Studies at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, where he is currently a doctoral candidate. It has been translated into Spanish poems and essays by writers such as Gilberto Freyre, Haroldo de Campos, Sebastião Uchoa Leite, Herbert Helder, Marco Ercolani and Hilde Domin, among others. He has been editor of the literary supplement of the newspaper El Letra Viva Oaxaca Fair magazine and Paper Tower at the University of Iowa he has taught writing workshops at the Andres Henestrosa Library since its founding. His first poems were published in the journal The poet and his work in 2003 following the publication of Azar and Kalgari platelets in 2004 Recently his work was included in the Latin Inglourious anthology, sweaty fucking. Iberoamerican poetry made in the USA (The pool of Lucretia, 2009) and Santiago de Chile a selection of Juno deserted rápame + (black dog books, 2011) was published.
