José Pizarro

José Pizarro (Elena, Córdoba province, Argentina, 1966) is a visual artist.
His exhibitions include Volatile Happiness (2015, Parque de la Memoria, Buenos Aires), Niñobjeto (2014, MUMU, Córdoba), Fantasma per se (2009, Museo Cara¬ffa, Córdoba), Who is José Pizarro? (2007, Museo Macro-Castagnino, Rosario) and La luna de Megumi. (2000, Fundación Proa, Buenos Aires).
Interested in the word, he has also published poetic and theoretical texts. The following seminars emerge from his research: Identical to himself. The word as space and place (2015), Bite the tongue. Writings of thought (2014) and Poetics of author (2010).
He excels as an independent teacher; He is one of the founders of Theoretical Sky. Aesthetics and thinking in visual art. He works as a teacher at the Dr. Figueroa Alcorta School of Fine Arts (Córdoba). To this work he adds that of the work clinics around the country with the National Endowment for the Arts.
