He is Professor of Ethics and Philosophy of the University of Málaga Policy since 1987 Author of fifteen books, forty-one collaboration and about ninety scientific papers. Directs a Master (virtual) on "Education for Democratic Citizenship" at the International University of Andalusia. Visiting professor at Wayne State University (Detroit, USA) and the Universität Passau (Germany). Your preferred line of research has been "Democracy of citizens." His recent books include Citizens without democracy. New Essays on citizenship, ethics and democracy (2005), and in the same Editorial: Moral Education, postmodernism and democracy (22000) and Citizenship, nationalism and human rights (with José María Rosales Mendez and Manuel Toscano) (2000), plus outstanding ethical and political challenges (co-editor, 2002) and the editing and translation of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, political Writings (2006).
