Philologist and theologian, is Professor of Patristics at the Faculty of Theology San Damaso (Madrid) and director of the collection "Patristic Sources." It started in the study of Christian antiquity by A. Orbe and E. Romero Pose, conducted his doctoral thesis on St. Justin Anthropology (1986). For some time a major contributor to the Spanish publishing scene with the publication of many early Christian works. Contributed articles to journals, concentrating his attention on the work of Irenaeus of Lyon and others of the so-called Asian tradition.
