Junko Masuda was born in 1952 in Shizuoka. She graduated from the School of Graphic Arts and Design. She has worked as a designer and in galleries since 1985. She has published many children's books and lives with 26 cats in Osaka. She is the author of Splash! splash! Synchronized swimming for babies and octopuses.
