
Kodwo Eshun. Of Ghanaian descent, he was born in England in 1967. He studied English literature in Oxford and currently works as a writer and DJ. He is also a professor at the University of London as part of the Visual Cultures Department and has collaborated with several magazines such as I-D, The Guardian, Spin, Frieze and The Wire. In 2002 he founded together with Anjalika Sagar, The Otolith Group, a collective who works projects that include works in video and films, writings of artists, exhibitions and curators, with the aim of creating an integrated practice that aims to generate a "new culture of cinema".
