Laura Alcove. She lived until she was ten years old in Argentina before settling in Paris. She graduated in letters from l' Ecole Normale Supérieure, and is a specialist in the Spanish Golden Age, editor and translator in France. He has written the novels The House of Rabbits (Edhasa, 2008), White Garden (Edhasa, 2010) and The Passengers of the Anna C (Edhasa, 2012), all three of which were originally published in France by Gallimard, as was El azul de the bees. Her work has been translated into German, English, Serbian, Italian and Catalan.
