Laura Fahrenkrog Cianelli

Laura Fahrenkrog Cianelli has a Doctorate in History from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and a Master's degree in Hispanic Music from the University of Salamanca. Privileging an interdisciplinary approach, his work covers musical practices during the colony in Latin America in relation to problems related to social and cultural aspects such as the mobility and circulation of people, goods and knowledge, labor forms and colonial categories, issues revised to the light of a meticulous work with primary sources. She works as a research professor in the Department of History and Social Sciences at the Adolfo Ibáñez University in Santiago de Chile. The text that gave rise to this book won the Miguel Cruchaga Tocornal Prize (2018) from the Chilean Academy of History.
