Laura Wittner (Buenos Aires, 1967). Writer, screenwriter, editor and translator. She has a degree in Letters from the University of Buenos Aires and did postgraduate studies in New York. In 1997 she received the Fulbright Scholarship and in 2016 she received the Bicentennial Grant for Creation, from the National Endowment for the Arts. She has published multiple books of poetry, such as Los cossacs (1998), La tomadora de café (2005), Lluvias (2009) and Balbuceos en una misa dirección (2011). She has also published several children's books, such as Cahier du temps (2006), Birthday Boys (2007), Night on the Train (2008), and Puss in Gloves (2009).
Since 2014, she coordinates literature workshops and integrates juries in narrative and poetry contests.
