Lisa Randall

Lisa Randall (New York, June 18, 1962) is an American physics physicist, specializing in particle physics and cosmology. He has worked on several of the string theory models that try to explain the inner workings of the universe. Her best known contribution in this field is the Randall-Sundrum model or RS model published in 1999 along with Raman Sundrum.1 She was the first woman to hold a position in the physics department of Princeton University and the first female Physicist Theoretical at MIT and at Harvard University.
