Luis Noriega resides in Spain, specifically in Barcelona. He is a writer and translator. He has published Iménez (ed. Rev. Edition Workshop, 2011), winner of the UPC Science Fiction Award in 1999; the stories Randy's problem (El Malpensante 14, 1999), Playing the game (Cannibal tales, Alfaguara, 2002), Ad hoc solutions (Caliber 39, Villegas, 2007) and Virtuous circle (El Malpensante 102, 2009); and the short novel Mediocristan is a quiet country (El Malpensante 128, 2012). Where clowns die is their first electoral farce, and the first international release of Blackie Books: the novel has been published simultaneously in Spain, Colombia, Argentina, and other Latin American countries.
